The Youth Horse Camp is an educational camp teaching kids ages 9-17 (primary targeted ages) all about horses from different types of breeds, various uses, primary care and safe handling. Each camper will be assigned a horse (or they may bring their own) to take care of during their stay to create a relationship with the horse and build confidence in the camper’s ability to care for a horse. This is a 3-day/2-night camp (Monday – Wednesday) with each day having classroom style instructions, then arena time with the horse to put into practice what they learned. Each day will include an instructor hand-led ride around the property along with group hayrides into town. All meals, beverages, snacks and materials are provided. Campers have the option to stay on the property in small cottages through the Old West type look. Camp is available weekly May-September, rain or shine.
